The Pepperl+Fuchs F2D0-FB-EX4.CGS is a high-performance FieldBarrier designed for intrinsically safe fieldbus segments in demanding industrial and hazardous-area environments. Part of the FieldConnex® platform, it provides four intrinsically safe outputs (Ex ia), enabling safe and reliable connection of field devices in Zone 0/1 applications while maintaining a high-power trunk in Zone 1/Div. 2.

Engineered in a rugged IP67 aluminium housing, this FieldBarrier ensures long-term durability outdoors or in harsh process areas. Integrated short-circuit protection on each output maximizes system availability and prevents a single device failure from impacting the entire segment.
